LOVE THEM! I When I get a more accomadating living room I want the whole lounge chair (Is that what you call them?) at the end of my couches too.
Oh baby! I know the excitement! I've become such a couch nazi since I got mine. Children are watched very carefully and yelled at often on my new couches. My sister in law assured me that it'll wear off. You'll have to let me know if the couch nazi fairy visits you too!

As a furniture snob, I say good work. Is that brown? Is it ultrasuede? That is the best with kids because it is easy to clean and stain resistant. So glad to see clean and simple design and not over-stuffed. Every time I see over-stuffed furniture it makes me cringe. It literally hurts my insides.
Now I am ultimately jealous - we've needed new couches for years but I just can't spend the money! Maybe in another 5 years i'll have new ones like you :)

Kass--they are brown with dk green stitching. I've memorized and dreamed about, the stitching. :)
Brandi, definitely call it a lounge chair. The salesman used the name "fainting couch". Ugh.
Kelli: The Couch Nazi made an appearance at the store. I had to give a five minute lecture on my terms to the kids--no jumping, no shoes, no making forts, no food, No anything fun or perhaps dicey.
Jeff kind of rolled his eyes as I was listing my terms...but when he paid the bill, I think he agreed with my long list.
Amy--you're totally invited. That's my new place to just lie and eat bon-bons while Jeff is at work. The other couches weren't very comfy, so I couldn't really do it. Now it's all I will do. Obviously.
Moriah, Thanks! I'm kind of a furniture snob as well. Not that I really should be, because hello, ten years and finally new couches....but Jeff and I had to agree upon a "style" factor, for sure. Also, they are ultrasuede. I had to have something somewhat easy to clean.
Sarah, I'm jealous of your home renovations. I want new tile, too. Maybe in another ten years. :)
Kyle. Notice Riley is shoeless. I made her take them off before we "tested" the comfy factor of all prospects. You're right, though. Because it was the store model, I let things slide. When these couches are in my home, she'll need to make sure she's showered, her teeth are brushed, and she's wearing clean clothes before brushing up against them.
It's funny that everyone seems to be getting new couches. Kelli, you, and hopefully soon - me! I have never had new couches and ours are ripped up pretty bad and I've been looking for the right deal. I'm getting them even if I have to pay payments!
